Angling

Pike, Roach, Tench, Perch and Eels all live in the pond.

 

An eel pass in installed seasonally to aid with migration up the Glaven of elvers. 

The pond is primarily a nature conservation pond other than survey work NO fishing is allowed.            

 

 

 

 

During the reed clearance a large terrapin was found! - see the photo, S/he lives happily in the pond and can be spotted on a sunny day.
