Cultural Heritage

The  turbine will not have a direct or physical impact on any designated heritage assets. Its effects will be on the setting of designated heritage assets, of which there are 5 listed buildings within a 1.25km radius study area, two scheduled monuments, and one conservation area, and one registered park and garden. In the case of most of the listed buildings in the study area, the effects of the turbine will either be (i) non-existent or (ii) so slight that there will be no impact on their heritage significance. There is one grade II listed farmhouse where the turbine could be seen in the distance (Red House Farm), to a limited extent in some views. These effects will be slight, and the impacts on significance will be minor.
